Another Win for Avon Girls Field Hockey!

Avon Girls Field hockey continue their winning streak by defeating #2 ranked Glastonbury 1-0.

In the much-anticipated contest of Glastonbury v. Avon, Avon girls field hockey came out on top with another win and final score of 1-0!  Glastonbury, recently ranked #2, played a fast game working it down the field and challenging #4 ranked Avon.  Senior Captains Sammy Welch and Rachel Neuhoff commanded the defensive end while Junior Goalie Nicole Andrew compiled an impressive 10 saves from an aggressive Glastonbury offense. 

The single goal was made by Junior Maddy Riccardi and assisted by Senior captain Elle Crane.  The Falcons undefeated record now stands at 11-0!
