Avon Boys Basketball Wins NCCC Title Against Granby

Avon boys basketball won the NCCC championship against Granby last Thursday after a triple overtime win the night before over Enfield.
The Avon High School varsity team claimed the title with a 71-36 win, according to the Hartford Courant.
That marked the program's eighth conference title, the first since 2009, according to The Collinsville Press.

Avon's first CIAC state tournament game is scheduled for Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at the high school, according to the CIAC website.
