Avon Girls Volleyball Preps to Face Rival Ellington After Loss to Coventry
Coventry beat Avon 3-0 Wednesday in an away game.
The Coventry High School girls varsity volleyball team swept Avon 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-10) on their home court Wednesday.
That drops Avon to a 1-3 record overall in the fall season so far, putting them 1-2 in the NCCC.
Avon senior Mary Cate Culbertson led her team with four kills and eight digs.
