Avon Photo of the Day: Avon Relay Earns School Record at New England Championship

Avon's 4-by-800 relay team placed 11th at the New England indoor track and field championship and earned a school record with its 9:45:79 finish.

The Avon High School girls varsity relay comprises sophomores Amanda Holtzman, Molly Hamel and Maddie McHugh and junior Sara Stokesbury. 

The 26th Annual New England Interscholastic Indoor Track & Field Championships was held March 2 at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center in Boston. Full results are available on mysportsresults.com.

A few weeks ago, the girls placed fifth at the CIAC State Open Championship (9:47.09). At the end of January the girls varsity team won the NCCC title.

But here's the irony...Obama's not the problem. The real problem is that people like you, Liz, will be around long after Obama's term as president is over. If people like you could be duped into voting for someone like Obama twice, it could happen again and again. I pray that this country will wake up soon and realize the horrific mistake that it's made and get this great nation back on a path to freedom and opportunity. If people like you, Liz, continue to prevail, then I pray for my children's future, for it will truly be bleak…
