Avon Public Schools will be closed again Tuesday, Board of Education Chair Peggy Roell confirmed Monday afternoon.
Hurricane Sandy's arrival has been delayed, but wind and rain is building. Many schools statewide are already announcing school closures for the second time this week.
After school activities will be canceled Tuesday, as well, according to Roell.
