Avon Soccer Teams 'Kickin' It 4 Robby'

In honor of an Avon junior who has a rare form of bone cancer, soccer teams, alumni, coaches and the community raised $10,000 for Connecticut Children's Medical Center through the Kickin' It 4 Robby indoor soccer tournament.

That's where , 16, goes every 14 days for chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with a Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor in February. The tumor is in his femur, above his knee.

Brisco was a captain of the junior varsity soccer team last fall.

He attended the tournament, which was held on Saint Patrick's Day.
