Eileen O'Neil Appointed Assistant Principal at Avon High School

Greg Ferry will also join the school as Director of Athletics and Student Activities.

Avon High School has announced that Eileen O’Neil will join the school’s staff as Assistant Principal.

O’Neil has served as Coordinator of Special Services in Simsbury for the past fourteen years, as well as having teaching experience in South Windsor, Massachusetts, and North Carolina, according to a release from the school.

She will bring her experience as a co-leader of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program (PBIS) at Simsbury and director of the Pathways Alternative Learning Program.

Avon High School also welcomes Greg Ferry as Director of Athletics and Student Activities. Ferry holds degrees from the United States Coast Guard Academy, University of Connecticut, and University of Bridgeport.
