On May 31, 2012, Avon High School students will join members of the Avon Chamber of Commerce in a Career Exploration Day (formerly Job Shadow Day) Each Student will get a firsthand look into the business of their choice and explore the many aspects of operating a business in such areas as management, product development, employee relations or becoming an entrepreneur. Students will learn about educational requirements to meet the companies hiring standards.
Students can select a business that interests them as a potential career path. Then, students will go to a participating business for a two hour morning session. The participating Avon Chamber members are as follows:
