The Art of Smocking & Embroidery

Benedetta Colletti, a resident of Avon and member of the local chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America, will be holding a demonstration in the art of smocking and embroidery. She will give a basic demonstration of simple stitches, explain what the group is about, their dedication to fostering the smocking and embroidery arts, and bring items she has made that feature smocking.
