Jadovich Scores 1,000th Point Playing Miss Porter's Basketball
The former Avon High School student has also committed to a college already.
Former Avon High School basketball player Caroline Jadovich scored her 1,000th point playing for Miss Porter's School Jan. 11 against The Hotchkiss School.
Jadovich, still an Avon resident, has committed to Connecticut College and will play basketball there next year.
As a junior last season, she broke 1,000 career points during her 423-point season at Avon High School after scoring 906 varsity points her freshman and sophomore year at Miss Porter's, according to Beth Jadovich, her mother. That is the most points scored by any Avon girls varsity basketball player in one season. She also holds the record there for most three-pointers in one year at 63. Jadovich was recognized as an All State athlete in Class L during her season with the Avon Falcons.

Upon her return to Miss Porter's, she became the second player to break 1,000 points at the all-girls private school in Farmington.
Jadovich plays for the love of the game, her mother said, and she comes from an athletic family. Her sister, Lauren, was a tri-sport varsity athlete at Miss Porter's School and now rows at Duke University in Durham, NC. Meanwhile, her brother, Matt, a former three-sport varsity athlete at , competes in rugby and crew at Cheltenham College in England.
