Accomplishment: Thompson Brook School recognized Berman as an Avon Achiever at a Board of Education meeting Feb. 8 for leading recycling efforts at the upper elementary school. He has spent countless hours of his free time dedicated to keeping Thompson Brook a green school by recycling paper and plastics.
Key to awesomeness: Thompson Brook School Principal Anne Watson wrote that "Ben is polite and considerate as he zips through the classrooms. He is committed to keeping TBS a clean and 'green' school. Thank you, Ben for ensuring that we follow the guidelines of recycling! Ben sets a great example of what is means to be a 'citizen' as TBS and we are proud to have him as a student."
