Partnership is Safety Net for those with Dementia

Arden Courts has partnered with Patient Advocate  for you now are able to fill a gap that existed when residents went to the hospital PA4U now will provide a registered nurse to meet the resident when brought to the ER in order to assist with coordinating care. "This is a huge benefit for those families who either can't be there or live out of town" said Peggy Coburn, Executive Director of the Avon Arden Courts.  PA4U is a 24 hour service providing professional navigation through the healthcare system with seasoned registered nurses. "We've become a needed addition to an already great system that provides care for those with dementia but aren't able to support them when they leave.  Dementia patients are the most vulnerable of our elderly population and need to have someone there to provide the story. We're very happy to be partnering with Arden Courts and will be suppporting all their communities in the state", said Sharon Gauthier a registered nurse who started the company 5 years ago.
