Avon Business to Deliver La Trattoria Thanksgiving Dinners on Pre-Order

If you want a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but don't want to cook, an Avon food delivery service can bring a Thanksgiving meal from Canton's La Trattoria to your door. 

You can pre-order a Thanksgiving dinner from the restaurant up until 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Dine In Connecticut can deliver it anywhere. 

The Avon-based company delivers food for many restaurants in the Farmington Valley. According to a notice from the business, Dine In Connecticut received calls from many children last year asking if they could send Thanksgiving to elderly parents and many others didn't want to cook.

Dine In Connecticut staff wrote in an email to people subscribed to its newsletter that "we are happy to work on Thanksgiving Day to deliver anything that is pre-ordered by 9PM on 11/26."

La Trattoria's dinner feeds four to six people and costs $120. It includes the following, according to the newsletter:

• A "family-sized turkey"

• Soup or cider

• Two vegetables

• Mashed potatoes

• Stuffing

• Choice of mincemeat or pumpkin pie
