The Art of Shopping: Farmington Valley Arts Center Opens Winter Wonderland for Holiday Shopping

Looking for holiday gifts? How about some local art?

The following press release was submitted by the Farmington Valley Arts Center. 

The decorated Studios and Galleries at the Farmington Valley Arts Center are ready to invite the public for a special evening of holiday shopping.  

Each space adorned with seasonal delights offers a variety of unique gifts.  Fine art and crafts including works on paper and canvas, prints, photography, jewelry, glass, clay, wood, metal and fiber. 

Shop from more than twenty spaces while you browse offering confections including chocol'art.  And savor in the season with infinite choices wrapping up selections at one location Friday, December 6, 6-9pm!

Enjoy free parking, refreshments, and music. Additional holiday shopping includes the Tea Room, with free refreshments from Studio 6B hosting a small works exhibit of paintings, prints, photography, sculpture.  

Tea Room, Gallery and Open Studio hours are Saturday November 30, December 7, 14 & 21 from 10am - 4pm. 

'Create A Holiday Gift' workshops conducted in our classroom eachSaturday through December. Two sessions each day will keep you busy creating your own personalized holiday gifts.  Benefit from discounted pre-registration by contacting us at 860.678.1867. 

The Fisher and Drezner Visitors' Gallery host a holiday exhibit of fine art, craft and wearable art.  Find gifts of all types and all media for special presentation.  Volunteers will gladly assist in special creative wrap to your purchases Wednesday through Friday, Noon - 4pm, and Saturday, 10am-4pm.
