Weekly Club News from Michele - September 17, 2013

Hello Snap Avon! 

This past Saturday was the first club member appreciation party/open house BBQ and it was great to see so many of you have such a great time!  Special thank you to Tracy Lachmann for the free massages, Anthony Cannavo Jr. for the free injury assessments, Ali Welcome for face painting, Denise for the free Zumba class, Robert Smith for guest instructing the awesome bootcamp class, JarBear Carvings for the chainsaw carving of our club mascot, and The Biker's Edge for being on site for all our outdoor biking needs. I plan to make this an annual event for all of you.  I appreciate your membership and that so many of you take pride in the club not being JUST a club.  GO US GO!

There are quite a bit of exciting announcements so let's get started:

1.  Please join me in welcoming Robert Smith Jr. to the elite personal training staff at the club! Robert is bilingual and most recently was the Assistant Director of personal training at LA Fitness in Springfield, MA.  Robert has extensive knowledge of various different training methods and is a sports nutrition specialist as well so he will fit right into the atmosphere here.  Looking for someone to give you that extra push?  Robert is available for those in-demand morning personal training slots so contact the club today if you would like a FREE ASSESSMENT with him.  Robert will also be taking on the Wednesday and Friday 6am boot camp classes so if you haven't tried class yet, now is a great time to drop in.  Remember only $15/month for unlimited class attendance!

2.  Snap Avon staff and some of our members will be PERFORMING on stage this Saturday the 21st at the Avon Day event!  Look out for us at 4pm on the main stage and cheer us on!  Be sure to drop by our booth and bring your friends/family that might be interested in a membership.

3. If you haven't seen the cards in the club yet, the Michele ApprovedTM collaboration with Aloha tanning has officially launched!  I'm expanding my promotion of all things healthy to not just nutrition but healthy LIFESTYLE options as well.  Try out their organic, paraban free spray tans for your next event/wedding/night out instead of dangerous UV lights.  I use them for appearances, photo shoots, and especially as a base under my competition tan for stage.  They are awesome and have a special deal for Snap members so grab a promo card the next time you are in the club.

4. THIS THURSDAY IS THE MONTHLY ISAGENIX PARTY AT 6:30-7:30PM.  By popular demand Mike Russo will once again be hosting the event for all those who have questions about what the heck we are all talking about.....and why so many of us love how we FEEL and love how our bodies are changing too.  Come listen to what it's all about :)

5. I've hired a new cleaning staff that will be coming to the club late in the evening (like 10pm ish) every Monday so please plan accordingly.  Please be sure to be courteous and help us keep the club clean by racking your weights, and taking your personal items from the shower rooms at all times (gross!).  And on rainy days....bring a change of shoes.

6. The fall season for all physique competitions (bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini, fit body, male physique/model) has begun and I am once again hosting stage posing and presentation clinics every Sunday from 11-1pm at the club.  These clinics are the only one of their kind in the whole state so if you have ever heard of someone "who competes" feel free to share that your club hosts clinics.  Please plan accordingly because we will be occupying the floor space during this time.
