The Avon 10-11s team defeated Wethersfield at Harwinton on Wednesday evening.

Avon continues in the Little League All Stars sectionals Thursday against the District 11 champion after a close win over Wethersfield.

The score was 1-0, Avon, over Wethersfield Wednesday.

The team's next game is at 5:30 p.m. in Harwinton Thursday.
