Avon Old Farms Football Closes Season with New England Championship Game
Suffield Academy won the Arthur Valicenti New England Championship Bowl title.
Avon Old Farms School's football team played Suffield Academy Saturday for the Arthur Valicenti New England Championship Bowl.
Suffield took home the title in a close-scoring game that ended 50-42 in its favor.
It was the last game of the season for the Avon Winged Beavers and for head football coach Kevin Driscoll.
Driscoll was honored at his last home game at AOF on Nov. 2. Many former players attended, including starting New York Giants running back Michael Cox.
