Avon Sailor Jack Howard, 12, Claims Grand Prix Championship Title

He is the youngest sailor in the Southern Massachusetts Sailing Association to do so.

We liked this story so much, that we couldn't resist naming Avon's Jack Howard, 12, our Patchlete of the Week.

Howard, a sixth-grade Thompson Brook School student, is the "youngest sailor in Southern Massachusetts Sailing Association history to win the coveted Grand Prix Championship," according to an announcement reader Brian Kelly posted on Avon Patch.
