18th Annual Dick Migli Golf Tournament

Dick Migli graduated from Avon High School in 1970. Playing multiple sports, he earned 12 varsity letters. Migli demonstrated courage and a competitive spirit setting an excellent example of what AHS athletes are all about. He lost a courageous fight against Lou Gehrig's disease in 1993.  Each year a student athlete who demonstrates  a competitive spirit and a zest of life is awarded the Dick Migli Scholarship.

The Avon Booster Club is proud to support such a worthwhile cause. The purpose of the Avon High School Booster Club is to aid and assist in the development and enhancement of all athletic programs, both male and female, of the Avon School System, with a primary emphasis on High School Sports. Funds raised have helped purchase new scoreboards, wrestling mat, volleyball net system, track equipment and racing clock, softball equipment,  concession sheds, two defibrillators, field hockey goalie equipment, soccer scorers table, crew chase boat and multiple rowing ergs.  In addition, the Avon Booster Club gives away over $10,0000 in annual scholarships to deserving Avon High School graduating athletes.
