Two Local Businesses Team Up  to Create Unique New Treat for Dogs

Avon, CT. ---  Two local small businesses announce the upcoming launch of a new product that combines their ingredients in a unique way for dogs and those who love them.

Brownstone Bakery for Dogs of Avon, with support from Thomas Hooker Brewery of Bloomfield, will soon be launching Brownstone Brewhouse Biscuits - tasty treats for dogs made from the grains remaining from brewing beer. Transforming the Brewery grains at Brownstone Bakery for Dogs is baker Bill Stajos. The result is an all-natural treat made in flavors that dogs crave and match well with beer - Sweet Hickory Chicken, Cheeseburger, Pizza, and, of course, Peanuts.

The heads of the two local businesses, Curt Cameron of Thomas Hooker Brewery, and Roger Howard, owner of Brownstone Bakery, have combined their love of dogs and their ingredients to create healthy and appealing treats.

The new Brownstone Brewhouse Biscuits will go on sale at the official product launch at Brownstone Bakery for Dogs, on Saturday, September 29th, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. The public - with or without their four-legged friends - is invited to the bakery for an indoor-outdoor event of “Brews, Blues, and Biscuits.”
