Avon High School girls volleyball stands 1-1 in the NCCC after shutting out Enfield 3-0 Monday at home.

Senior Dana Rosato led the attack with eight kills and seven aces and her classmate Mary Cate Culbertson had seven kills and three aces.

The playmaker of the match was senior Mary Pearce, who recorded 17 assists and had six aces herself.
