Northwest Catholic Defeats Avon Girls Hoops

The Avon Falcons are hosting a Holiday Basketball Tournament this week. The team fell 58-32 against Northwest Catholic on Tuesday. Prior to the game, sophomore Anna Schrecengost averaged 11.4 points a game, as player with the most points scored per game, and junior Alana Pulling averaged 7.8, according to the game program.

Last Wednesday against Stafford, 11 of the 12 players on the varsity roster scored, including Pulling, who led the team with 15, and freshman Michaela Marcus, who had 11, the game program stated.

The girls are slated to play again Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. The opponent has not been determined at this time.
