Best Chicken EVER! I am being very bold with this statement, but it is true.

Buy a natural, hormone-free or organic whole chicken. Rub a packet of your favorite seasoning combo into the chicken (I used my favorite McCormick Gourmet Chicken and Potatoes), bag it, stick in fridge overnight.

Next morning, spray crockpot with olive oil spray and plop the chicken into the pot. Then throw whatever veggies you have on top! For this dish I used rutabagas and small potatoes. Set on low for the 12 hours I'm gone, come home and it is like magic...best chicken EVER. Food for days!

I made up some crispy green beans on the sides (light spray of olive oil, Mrs Dash Fiesta lime, pinch of Himalayan salt and juice of 1 lemon).
