Whole Health Associates Day 8 "Paleo Diet Makeover"! Paleo Latte!

Day 8 "Paleo Diet Makeover": My version of a Paleo Breakfast and a Paleo Latte!

Super easy breakfast: eggs, avocado and smoked salmon-I like to top this dish with capers and red onion, but I was all out:(

My "Paleo Latte"~ some equipment is required for this!
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (frothed using a Nespresso Aeroccino)
- 2 tsp of cinnamon OR pumpkin spice
- sweetener (I prefer Stevia)
- 1/2 cup organic coffee

Not too sure how "Paleo" this latte is, but it is really good!

Having just one egg raises the risk of heart attack by 4 fold for several hours after eating it!

eggs are a staple for paleo breakfasts, but frequency is better than quantity in this case. As long as you are not consuming 6 eggs a day for the rest of your life then it should be fine. There are so many ways you can eat eggs, be it boiled, scrambled or poached. It's just a matter of adding variety to your recipes. This site http://paleodiet.risap.com has some good reviews of paleo recipes/cookbooks. As much as I love eggs I like to switch things around a little.
