Community Update

Cathy Durdan, Margaret Bratton and James Speich are incumbent members of the Avon Board of Finance. They are running for re-election on November 5.
All three candidates are long time Avon residents who have proved their devotion to fiscal responsibility through many contentious budget negotiations. They have strived to keep taxes in our community affordable for everyone, while still managing to maintain our AAA bond rating and to provide our citizens with excellent schools and services.
Cathy, Margaret and Jim have withstood pressure from special interest groups in town who attempted to undermine the many years of consistent, competent and loyal stewardship that they have provided to all the members of our community. They have consistently sought to be fair and equitable during the yearly budget process, always trying to work alongside the other members of the board to arrive at a consensus that will benefit everyone in our town.
Avon needs Cathy, Margaret and Jim to continue the responsible decisions they have always made to maintain and support our successful community. 
Please VOTE to keep Avon strong and healthy. Re-elect Cathy Durdan, Margaret Bratton and James Speich to the Avon Board of Finance.
