100% Were impressed
The Gap was first opened in 1969 in San Francisco. Donald and Doris Fisher noticed that the youth were wearing jeans as a statement of the times. The Gap was short for Generation Gap. Donald was also unable to find his size of Levi's in a department store. Put those two together and their idea was born. Originally, just Levi Strauss jeans were sold. Today, Gap carries a full line of clothing for men, women and children. Its latest trend is the Black Jean line. The Avon Gap is managed by Michelle Ferrari.
