Avon Police Blotter: July 22-23, 2013

The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Assault

Benita Brouilette, 21, of 63 Hoffman St., Apt. B1, Torrington, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on July 22 at 12:38 p.m. Police released her on a $500 non-surety bond and she was scheduled to appear in court on July 23.

Forgery

Ismael Junior Lisboa, 20, of 417 Stanley St., New Britain, was charged with second-degree forgery and fourth-degree larceny on July 23 at 6:11 p.m. at 255 West Main St., Walmart Plaza. Darnell Rakim McCray, 23, of 428 Stanley St., New Britain, was charged with third-degree forgery in the same case that day. They were both released on a $2,000 and $1,000 surety bond, respectively and are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Failure to Appear

Akeema Shimar Richards, 21, of 29 Olive St., New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court on July 23 at 5:40 p.m. Police issued her a $75 cash bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 2.
