As a member of the Board of Finance, Cathy Durdan will continue to support responsible spending and reasonable taxes. She will be conscious of the economy and the impact on Avon residents. Cathy also will strive to support Avon’s conservative operations and adequate surplus resulting in our AAA bond rating.

Cathy is a 28-year Avon resident and Board of Finance member since 2004. She also served on the Inland Wetlands Commission from 2002-2004 and the Recreation and Parks Committee from 2000-2004. Cathy is Retired from The Hartford Insurance Company with an IFS (Insurance and Financial Services Specialist) Certificate. She is married to her Husband, John and her grandson, Jon is a 2003 Avon High School graduate.
