When re-elected to the Town Council Douglas Evans will continue to be a vocal advocate for moderation, balance, and fiscal prudence. Douglas Evans is a 20-year Avon resident, a current member of the Town Council since 2010, and former member of the Board of Education from 2003 to 2009. He served on the Avon High School Building Committee, the Recreation and Parks Committee from 2000 to 2009, and Natural Resources Committee from 2002 to 2003. Douglas is an Attorney and Partner at Kroll, McNamara, Evans & Delehanty, LLP located in West Hartford, CT. He earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA and a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College in New London, CT. His Wife is Marjie and he has three children.
