Mark Zacchio for Town Council

Mark Zacchio knows there’s no doubt Avon is a great place to live and raise a family.  Excellent Schools, Services, and Public Resources are all provided in a balanced, efficient, and timely manner.  When re-elected to the Town Council, Mark will continue to provide leadership that promotes balanced planning, collaborative inter-board engagement, and decision making that represents the interests of all Avon as a whole.

Mark Zacchio is a 45-year Avon resident and a Town Council member since 2005 and its Chair since 2010.  He also was Chairman of the Administrative Services (Shared Services) Commission in 2008/2009, served on the Board of Finance from 2001 to 2005, and was a member of the Inland Wetland Commission from 1999 to 2001.  Mark is also a Volunteer Coach Little League, Avon Baseball, Member of the Men of St. Ann’s Church, and Member Prince Thomas of Savoy, Avon, Ct.  Mark is a Financial Services Professional with 23 years of large organization effective, efficient Leadership.  He has a BS from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Uconn/Hartford Business Mastery Certificate.  Mark has his FINRA Series 6, 26 Registered.  He is married to Debbie, and has two Sons Nicholas (AHS Senior) and Dean (AHS Sophomore).
