A Cappella Group "Mixology" Continues Avon Public Library's "Sundays at Three" Concert Series

The Avon Public Library’s winter concert series, “Sundays at Three,” continues on January 26 with an appearance by Connecticut’s own Mixology Vocals, an exciting six-piece a cappella group that is quickly building a reputation for vocal pyrotechnics incorporating jazz, barbershop and contemporary influences. Their sound is unique, one that has been described as “a cappella awesome!” On the program will be Mixology’s special renditions of selections by The Beatles, George Gershwin, Dave Matthews, Michael Jackson and others: familiar songs offered with decidedly unconventional interpretations.

Refreshments will be served after the performance, and there will be an opportunity to meet the members of the group.
