Share the Vision® Fundraising Dog Walk & Family Fun Day to benefit Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation

Lace up your shoes and leash up your
four-legged best friend; Fidelco’s Share the Vision® Fundraising Dog Walk and Family Fun
Day
returns to Simsbury on
Sunday, September 29th. This family-friendly event features vendors,
food, K9 demos and a concert performance by Little House.
Proceeds support Fidelco's mission of promoting increased independence to men

and women who are blind by providing them with the highest quality German

Shepherd Guide Dogs.

For more than half a century, Connecticut’s Fidelco
German Shepherd Guide Dogs have been life-changing and life-saving partners to
men and women who are blind across North America, including our nation’s
blinded military heroes. It takes two years, 15,000 hands-on hours and $45,000
to produce and maintain one Fidelco Guide Dog, and Fidelco provides them at no
cost to the clients they serve. To carry out this mission, Fidelco relies on
the generosity of its individual and corporate donors and more than 350
volunteers.

Walkers are encouraged to pre-register and set up a personal fundraising page

by following the registration link at www.fidelco.org.
All dog breeds are welcome at this outdoor event as long as they are leashed.

The Share the Vision® Fundraising Dog Walk and Family Fun Day is held at the
Simsbury Performing Arts Center at 22 Iron Horse Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are available; contact abloom@fidelco.org for
more information.
