In response to food shortages at the Gifts of Love Food pantry in Avon, a family-owned jewelry store in town is offering discounts if you bring in a food donation.
Dunstan Jewelers, which has been in the Farmington Valley for 27 years, is holding a food drive for the entire month of May.
Donors will get 20 percent off their purchases, according to Gifts of Love spokesperson Carolyn McGrattan.
