About 300 people competed in the Avon Road Race on Sunday to benefit the Pine Grove School PTO.
The annual 5K starts at Pine Grove School on Scoville Road and weaves through nearby neighborhoods like the Stony Corners Circle section.
Marc Robaczynski, of Avon, won the race in 16:10.12, followed immediately by Avon residents Chris Chisolm (16:37.02) and Marisa Jones (18:10.00), respectively.
Most participants were from Avon, but there were also people from Avon to Stafford Springs who ran.
