My name is Drew Bloom and I am a candidate running for the Avon Town Council.

Avon, Connecticut is the town my wife Linda and I chose to raise our family, due to its proximity to Hartford where my work is located, the great schools and safety in a town with low crime. Over the past 16 years, we have found there are many ways to improve these things. Taxes continue to rise yet there is much that goes underfunded. Emergency services need upgrades. Parks and Recreation are limited. School improvements are needed. Safety in the town of Avon is becoming a concern. These are some of the reasons why I am asking for your vote on November 7th. I want to make a difference.
